Nicola Bazoli

Nicola Bazoli is a research fellow at the Research Institute for the Evaluation of Public Policies (IRVAPP). He obtained a doctoral degree in Statistical Science from the University of Bologna in 2019. His PHD focused on a simulation study about the assessment of a statistical methodology for measuring standardized tests fairness in education between individuals belonging to different groups
His main research interests include the measurement of students’ ability and competence, Item Response Theory (IRT) and statistical characteristics of items of standardized tests, with an emphasis on social inequalities.
