Mirco Tonin is Professor of Economic Policy at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, in Italy. Since January 2022, he is the Director of the Institute for the Evaluation of Public Policies – Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK-IRVAPP) in Trento.
He is also a research fellow at CESifo, IZA, GLO and at the Dondena Centre for Research on Social Dynamics and Public Policy at Bocconi University.
His main research interests are in labour and public economics. He also done some more policy-oriented work for the ILO and the World Bank.
