Welcoming Davide Cartagini

We are happy to welcome Davide Cartagini as our new team member!

Davide works on building monitoring and evaluation systems to support decision making in education. He holds a PhD in Economic Sociology from the University of Milan, with a dissertation on the role of social origins in shaping individual opportunities.

His research focuses on social mobility, opportunity structures, sociology of education, and causal methods. He specializes in quantitative methodologies and causal inference, particularly in the study of gender and class differences in educational outcomes and over the life course.
