I am PhD student in Sociology at Nuffield College, University of Oxford. Before coming to Oxford, I have worked at Institute for the Evaluation of Public Policies (FBK-IRVAPP) and obtained an MSc in Sociology and Social Research at the University of Trento, Italy. My research focuses on the causes and consequences of educational inequality and the evaluation of policies and programs aimed at reducing it. More precisely, my specific areas of interest are the analysis of Social Inequalities in Education, the role of family background, ethnicity and gender; the Returns to Education; Social Mobility and the Evaluation of Educational and Labour Market policies using experimental and quasi experimental designs.
