Call for the Best Paper in Public Policy Evaluation - Fourth Edition

We are pleased to announce the opening of the Fourth Edition of the Call for the Best Paper in Public Policy Evaluation, in conjunction with the course “Panel Data for Causal Research Designs” organised by the Italian Econometric Association (SIdE-IEA) and FBK-IRVAPP.

This prestigious prize includes:

€1,000 cash award
An invitation to present the winning paper during the “Panel Data for Causal Research Designs” course, which will be held in Bertinoro from the 29th of June to 3rd of July 2026.

Who can apply?

Doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and assistant professors with unpublished papers on public policy evaluation using counterfactual techniques.

Deadline: Applications close on 10th April 2026.
