22nd “BRUCCHI LUCHINO” LABOR ECONOMICS WORKSHOP

The 22th edition of the “Brucchi Luchino” Labour Economics Workshop is organized by the Research Institute for the Evaluation of Public Policies (IRVAPP) of the Fondazione Bruno Kessler and will take place in Trento on Thursday, December 5 (full day), and Friday December 6 (half day), 2024. The language of the workshop is English.
The workshop brings together young and senior labour economists to present and discuss their ongoing research at the frontier of labour economics and applied econometrics. Junior researchers and graduate students who have drafted their job market paper are particularly encouraged to submit a manuscript.
The workshop hosts a “welcome talk” and a “farewell talk” held by two invited speakers. The invited speakers for the 2024 edition are Alessandra Voena (Stanford University) and Mirco Tonin (Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and FBK-IRVAPP).
Those interested in participating are kindly invited to submit a full draft of their paper by September 22nd, 2024 to brucchi.luchino[at]unimi.it. Acceptance will be notified by October 6th, 2024. Presenters are expected to attend the whole workshop.
There is no participation fee. Lunches, coffee breaks, and a social dinner on December 5 are provided by the organizers. Participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
