Silvia Salier is a junior researcher at the Institute for the Evaluation of Public Policies (IRVAPP) in Trento. Her main research interests include the application of qualitative methods in areas such as inequality, poverty and marginalization, territory management, health and illness. She focuses especially on grounded and inductive approaches, and on the understanding of complexity within relations between individuals, institutions and territories.

After her Bachelor’s degree in International Studies, Silvia is concluding her Master’s Degree in Sociology and Social Research, both at the University of Trento.
