Visiting Research Fellows
The Research Institute for the Evaluation of Public Policies (IRVAPP) at the Bruno Kessler Foundation (FBK) is a leader in applied research and program evaluation, conducting independent research and working closely with governments and institutions in Italy and internationally.
IRVAPP’s work is driven by continual exchange with other institutes and contexts. As part of this, we warmly invite public policy researchers to take up a Visiting Research Fellowship at the Centre. Fellowships can last between one and six months and are based in the IRVAPP office in Trento, Italy.
We welcome experienced researchers at academic institutions or research centers working on public policy or related fields.
Fellows have the opportunity to be involved in all of the Center’s seminars, workshops, conferences, presentations, and events. Fellows are also invited to propose and lead such sessions in their areas of expertise. Aside from the Fellow’s own projects, there is ample opportunity for collaboration within and outside the Center.
IRVAPP will provide Fellows with access to its technological and academic resources and comfortable desk space for the duration of the Fellowship. During this time, Fellows are expected to play an active role in the life of the Center, contributing to the innovative and collaborative environment. IRVAPP cannot provide funding for living expenses but can provide temporary accommodations for up to two months or offer logistical support in finding longer term solutions, as well as to obtain a visa, if needed. There are some opportunities for travel funding, please inquire if needed.
Interested researchers are invited to contact Alessandro Tondini, Research Fellow, at [email protected]
Please include a CV and an indication of the preferred dates with a brief outline of the research planned during the Fellowship.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and candidates will receive feedback within a few weeks.

- The existence of an employment relationship or the possession of a grant or scholarship from the organization
