Olga Gorodetskaya

Olga Gorodetskaya is a research fellow at the Research Institute for the Evaluation of Public Policies (FBK-IRVAPP).
She is completing her PhD in Sociology and Social Research at the University of Trento (Italy) with a thesis on gender inequality and fertility in Italian academia. During the years of her PhD training, she worked as a research assistant in the project “Parenting in Academia” and as a teaching assistant for the course “Quantitative Research Methods.” Also, she spent three months as a visiting researcher at Centre LIVES (Swiss Centre of Expertise in Life Course Research) in Lausanne (Switzerland).
Her main research interests relate to gender inequalities in the labour market from a life-cycle perspective, with a particular focus on academia. More recently, she has also worked on issues related to family dynamics, fertility, and education. She is passionate about quantitative analysis and empirical survey methodology.
